Kaytelyn and Laif tied the knot on a hot but oh so lovely June day at the Grove in Carthage, Missouri. I always love working at the Grove because there are so many idyllic and shaded locations around the entire venue for photos that even if you’re getting married in the heat of the summer, it still feels cool and the lighting is always soft and flattering. The Grove is the perfect location for a garden party theme with some covered outdoor seating. Kayte’s detail color palette of soft pink and cream blended so well with the venue and gave an elegant and feminine feel to the day. She wore a timeless strapless lace gown with a flattering, fitted silhouette and an extra-long veil which I always fan-girl over because it means I can get creative with it during bridals and couple portraits. The bridesmaids all wore soft pink mismatching dresses; each seemed to fit their personalities perfectly. Laif and the groomsmen all wore classic black tuxes. The guests were told to wear garden-party attire and were all given white paper parasols and fans before they found their seats to help them stay cool during the outdoor ceremony. Kayte and Laif chose to do personal vows during their ceremony which were so good and packed with emotion that there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. After the sweet and quiet ceremony, the bridal party helped the crowd welcome Mr. and Mrs. Hultine to the dance floor with their own personalized rally flag which was the first I’d seen at a wedding and I’m now convinced all my couples need them. All in all, such a great day! Laughs were had, tears were shed, love was shared- congratulations to the Hultines!
